No one does more for their members…

Insulate America President David Beam was in Washington, D.C. recently for the Insulation Industry Legislative Summit. Over 80 leaders from the industry gathered to meet with elected representatives on Capitol Hill. The group divided into teams in order to facilitate 58 meetings on the Hill, 32 in the Senate and 26 in the House of Representatives. Manufacturers from across the industry and a cross section of contractors worked to bring a clear and focused message to the leaders of both parties.

In addition to Insulate America’s representation, there were senior level attendees from NAIMA, CIMA, Center for Polyurethanes Industry, ICAA and the Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Association.

Insulate America was actively involved with NAIMA in the planning process for many months. This meeting marks the first time that the leadership of nearly every manufacturer in the industry along with trade associations and Insulate America, representing independent contractors, worked actively together for a common goal. We look forward to an even bigger and better event next year.
