The Building Performance Institute (BPI) has launched four new standards initiatives whose goal is to provide marked improvement in home energy performance and personnel certification credentialing.
To develop these, four new standard working groups have been formed. They are:
1. Air Distribution System Energy Performance
2. Quality Assurance Inspection
3. Envelope Insulation Applications
4. Envelope Air Leakage Control Applications
It is hoped that drafting could begin by July 30, 2010. Volunteers for these working groups are welcome. Just contact BPI at standards@bpi.org
